I am from the Czech Republic and here is my Prague
I believe that one should surround oneself by art that is uplifting. I recognize the need for educational art, art that raises awareness of dark subjects and I have created such works. But I maintain that even such art should be aesthetic and artworks that express only the misery in the world do not belong in one’s living room or office. There is plenty of depressing pictures in the news, social media and on the streets.
